Titans Defeat Utah State in Women’s Volleyball

LaCretia Smith had 14 kills and 13 digs and Katie Crawford had 13 kills to lead Cal State Fullerton to a four-game victory over Utah State in Big West Conference women’s volleyball Thursday in Logan, Utah.

The Titans (9-9, 2-3) won 15-2, 15-12, 12-15, 15-13. Utah State is 11-8, 1-4.

In another Big West match:

Nevada 3, UC Irvine 1--Marcia Bradbeer and Larissa Carter each had eight kills for UC Irvine (4-12, 0-5), which lost, 15-12, 15-9, 3-15, 15-6. Nevada is 8-11, 2-4.

In Golden State Athletic Conference women’s soccer:

Southern California College 7, Concordia 0--Rebekah Forster scored two goals and had one assist for SCC (9-4, 4-2). Concordia (1-11, 0-6) had no shots on goal.
