Crescenta Valley 29, Burroughs 17--Kenny Pritchett rushed for 253 yards and three touchdowns in 34 carries to lead Crescenta Valley in a nonleague game at Burroughs.
Pritchett ran 64 yards for a touchdown on the third play from scrimmage and added scoring runs of four and one yard in the third quarter, giving the Falcons (5-0) a 29-3 lead. He also had a 40-yard touchdown run nullified by a holding penalty.
Crescenta Valley, ranked fifth in The Times’ regional poll, took a 14-3 lead on Jesse Buste’s one-yard touchdown run midway through the second quarter.
Glenn Adriatico had 10 receptions for 84 yards for Burroughs (3-2).
The Indians drove 80 yards in 14 plays, scoring on a two-yard run by Robert Barillas with 11 minutes to play.
After recovering on onside kick, the Indians scored again on a 33-yard pass from Chris Santoyo (19 of 37, 207 yards) to Brian Criscuolo to pull within 29-17 with one minute to play.
