New Venues: The Westin Hotel Los Angeles Airport is taking off with a regular Wednesday night jazz session in the venue’s Lobby Court. Music will range from straight-ahead and bebop to Latin and blues. Singer Barbara Morrison appears next Wednesday with her trio, with vocalist Micki Rhyne, pianist Tom Ranier and the jump band Red Young and the Red Hots performing in successive weeks.
