New Center Will Bring County Services to Seniors

Los Angeles County Supervisor Yvonne Brathwaite Burke opened a new constituent center for senior citizens Wednesday in an effort to make county services more accessible to the elderly in the neighborhood.
The senior center, at 10616 S. Western Ave., has information about county programs, health services and space for meetings.
The center will be open from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Wednesday through Friday.
