Lynch Helps the Titans Win in Men’s Soccer

Charlie Lynch scored twice in the second half to help Cal State Fullerton to a 2-1 victory over San Diego State in a nonconference men’s soccer game Thursday at Fullerton.
Lynch’s first goal came from about 25 yards in the 52nd minute. He then took a long pass from goalkeeper Zoltan Nagy and moved downfield and scored from close range in the 73rd minute.
Christian Thiele scored in the 75th minute for San Diego State (0-1-2).
Nagy had one save for Cal State Fullerton (2-1), which outshot the Aztecs, 21-3.
Matthew Hall had five saves for San Diego State.

In another nonconference game:
Southern California College 2, Chapman 0--Wilhem Morelos scored on a penalty kick in the 83rd minute and Chuy Miramontes scored four minutes later for visiting Southern California College (1-0). Chapman is 2-1.
