Twins Deny They Have Offer to Move

The Minnesota Twins denied they have a standing offer from NationsBank to move the team to Charlotte, N.C., after the 1998 season.
“I wish that were true,” Twin Owner Carl Pohlad told the Minneapolis Star Tribune on Sunday. “If I have a standing offer, I don’t know about it.”
