Burroughs 14, Moorpark 6--Glenn Adriatico, who led the region in receiving last year with 85 catches, did not have any receptions for the Indians at Moorpark, but he rushed nine times for 43 yards, including a 13-yard touchdown with 1:14 left in the first half to give Burroughs a 14-0 lead.

The Indians used four quarterbacks, who collectively completed 12 of 21 passes for 171 yards with two interceptions.

Burroughs sophomore Randy Beckman rushed nine times for 19 yards, and scored on a one-yard run early in the first quarter after Harrison Phillips recovered a fumble at the 40 yard-line.
