Sweet Treats Planned at Cookie Event Today

The third annual Great Cookie Conclave will be hosted by the city from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. today.
In addition to games and contests centered around cookie themes, the event will feature the Itzamna Folkloric Dance Troupe, drill teams and other performances.
Admission and parking are free, and proceeds from games and cookie sales will benefit the Westminster Youth Chorus, parent-teacher associations and nonprofit youth organizations.
The event will be at Westminster’s Civic Center, 8200 Westminster Blvd.
