Woolf Shoots Even Par to Pace Alemany

Brian Woolf of Alemany High shot an even-par 34 to lead the Indians to a 193-203 victory over Harvard-Westlake in a Mission League match Thursday at Porter Valley Country Club in Northridge.
Mike Scott and Anthony Harju each shot 38 for Alemany (8-2, 8-1 in league play).
Westlake 431, Royal 443--Scott Fulkerson shot a four-over-par 76 for host Royal but the Highlanders fell in a nonleague match at Wood Ranch Golf Course that improved Westlake’s record to 18-1-1.
BOYS’ TENNIS
St. Bonaventure 14, Carpinteria 4--Mike Marquez improved to 24-0 and led the Seraphs (8-0, 3-0) in a Tri-Valley League match at home.
Burbank 18, Burroughs 0--Senior Mo Akhbari and junior Fabian Kwak did not lose a game at No. 2 doubles for Burbank (8-3, 3-0) in a Foothill League match at Burroughs.
Chaminade 11, St. Francis 7--Hari Keshava and John Johansen swept their three doubles sets for Chaminade (6-4, 4-2) in a Mission League match at the Northridge Tennis Club.
Keshava and Johansen won, 7-6, 6-3, 6-3.
BOYS’ SWIMMING
Buckley 89, Cathedral 17--Greg Emmanuel, Ian Lopuch and Jamie Zwick each won two events for the Griffins (4-0) in a nonleague meet at Buckley.
