What’s happening in the next few weeks:
* The 90th annual Rose Festival, May 28 to June 22, features a Grand Floral Parade (June 6), dragon boat races (June 6-7) an air show (June 12-14), a waterfront festival (June 19-21), music events, a juried art show and a rose show (June 4-5). * At the Portland Art Museum through Aug. 16: “Splendors of Ancient Egypt.” One of the largest exhibitions of ancient Egyptian treasures to visit the United States in decades features more than 200 masterpieces from the pre-dynastic period to the 7th century. This is the exhibition’s only West Coast venue. Also at the museum, “The Hands of Rodin,” June 2 to Sept. 6, includes 50 sculptures demonstrating the artist’s mastery of the lines and silhouette of the human hand. 1219 S.W.
