Desert Dining

Regarding John McKinney’s article (“Blooms’ Day,” Weekend Escape, March 22), my husband and I went to Anza-Borrego Desert State Park March 15 to 17, visited the same locations as McKinney and stayed at the same B&B.; We enjoyed his article very much.
To paraphrase McKinney’s words, Borrego Springs may not be a mecca for wining and dining. However, there are good places to eat. We had an excellent dinner at the Krazy Coyote Grill. Another evening we had good Mexican food at Borrego’s Kitchen.
