First American Continues Buying Spree

First American Financial Corp., a Santa Ana-based provider of real estate-related financial and information services, continued its buying spree, acquiring Carlsbad-based S.D. Technologies Inc.
S.D., which operated under the name Spatial Data, develops desktop software products used by title insurance companies and real estate agencies. Terms of the acquisition were not disclosed.
Earlier this week, First American acquired ShadowNet Mortgage Technologies LLC, a Colorado provider of real estate-related software programs. First American also acquired two other companies early in June.
