The Liberty is nearly even with Cleveland (15-9), Detroit (13-12) and Phoenix (13-10). Injured Sparks guard Tamecka Dixon remained in Los Angeles, receiving treatment on her left knee. She suffered a partial tendon tear last Saturday. New York was charging to the playoffs with a six-game winning streak, then lost Wednesday, 69-61, to Eastern Conference leader Charlotte.
