“Titanic” crew members--historical advisors Don Lynch and Ken Marschall and special-effects model-maker Tom Nicholai--will tell how they helped the hit movie float during a slide presentation Aug. 22 at the Newport Harbor Nautical Museum, 151 E. Coast Highway. The menu for the dinner that follows mirrors the last one reportedly served to first-class passengers aboard the doomed cruiser. Wine-and-cheese reception begins at 3 p.m.; program begins at 4 p.m. Dinner served at 6:30 p.m. The event is sponsored by the museum and the Steamship Historical Society of America, Southern California chapter. Tickets are $8; dinner is an additional $15-$20. Reservations required. (949) 673-7863, Ext. 350.
