Feuer to Be Speaker at Residents Meeting

City Councilman Mike Feuer will speak about possible development projects and city charter reform Tuesday at a meeting of the Studio City Residents Assn.
Feuer is expected to field questions on many projects and issues, including parking in the area, a proposed retail center at the City National Bank site on Whitsett Avenue and Ventura Boulevard, the possibility of a new Studio City fire station and the status of a new tenant replacing Ralphs supermarket at Laurel Canyon and Ventura boulevards.
Daniel Hackney, customer relations manager for the Solid Resources Division of the city Bureau of Sanitation, will speak about the changes in garbage collection and recycling.
John Caprarelli, Los Angeles police senior lead officer for the area, will offer an update on the partners against crime program. He is also expected to distribute maps detailing locations of Studio City crimes that occurred over the last month.
The meeting will begin at 7 p.m. at CBS Studio Center, 4024 Radford Ave.
