High School Auction Will Be Fund-Raiser

Hoping to raise cash for student activities, the Cornerstone Christian High School in Camarillo will auction off cars as part its annual holiday fund-raiser.

Beginning at 7:30 p.m. Friday the school will auction a 1986, 12-passenger van and a 1978 Chevrolet Silverado pickup, as well as vacations, dinners, a baseball autographed by former Dodger Mike Piazza, medical and dental services and electronics equipment.

The auction, which will be held at the school, will begin with a preview of items at 6 p.m. and a tri-tip dinner. Dinner is $10 if paid at the door, $8 with advance reservations.

Cornerstone Christian High School is at 1777 Arneill Road in Camarillo.
