Chino Advances Past Ayala, 24-0

Andrew Saucedo scored three touchdowns as Chino defeated Chino Hills Ayala, 24-0, in a Southern Section Division II semifinal Friday night at Cal State Fullerton.
Chino (13-0), which won the Division IV championship last season, has won 26 consecutive games.
The Cowboys will play for the title against the winner of tonight’s game between Compton Dominguez and Diamond Bar.
DIVISION III
Jon Montez completed six of 12 passes for 81 yards and three touchdowns as Santa Fe Springs St. Paul advanced with a 49-19 victory over Valencia.
Valencia running back Manuel White came into the game with 1,838 yards and 20 touchdowns, but St. Paul held him to under 100 yards and the Swordsmen forced seven turnovers.
St. Paul (12-1) will play for the title against the winner of tonight’s game between Newhall Hart and Alemany.
DIVISION VI
Greg Orlando rushed for 141 yards and scored on an 81-yard run as Santa Margarita defeated Irvine, 17-0, at Saddleback College.
Santa Margarita, the winner of consecutive Division V titles, advances to the championship game and will play the winner of tonight’s game between Irvine Woodbridge and Anaheim Servite.
DIVISION VII
Senior wide receiver Steve Stevenson returned an interception 65 yards for a touchdown and rushed for two other scores as Charter Oak defeated Bell Gardens, 28-7, at Charter Oak.
Charter Oak (9-2-1), the Miramonte League champion, advances to the final where the Chargers will play the winner of tonight’s game between Hacienda Heights Los Altos and Harvard-Westlake.
DIVISION IX
Mike Lemon gained 233 yards in 34 carries and scored two touchdowns as La Mirada defeated Anaheim Western, 27-14, at La Mirada.
Lemon’s four-yard scoring run and two-point pass reception in the third quarter tied the score, 14-14. His seven-yard scoring run with 4:23 left in the fourth quarter gave the Matadores the lead for good.
La Mirada will play for the title against the winner of tonight’s game between Lakewood Mayfair and Cerritos Gahr.
DIVISION XI
Davion Doby gained 207 yards and scored three touchdowns as Santa Monica St. Monica defeated Calabasas, 42-22, at St. Bernard.
James Dunn caught seven passes for 81 yards and two touchdowns for St. Monica, which will play for the title against the winner of tonight’s game between Carpinteria and St. Bernard.
DIVISION XIII
Senior running back Joe Ramos scored on runs of 16 and five yards as Redlands Arrowhead Christian defeated Ambassador Christian, 12-6, at Arrowhead Christian.
Arrowhead Christian will play Boron or Mammoth for the title.
EIGHT-MAN LARGE
Jacob Lake scored three touchdowns to lead Arcadia Rio Hondo Prep to a 51-7 victory over Riverside Christian in the championship game at Rio Hondo Prep.
Rio Hondo Prep won its third consecutive title. The Kares won the Eight-Man Small division in 1996 and 1997.
