The City Council will hold a workshop at 3 p.m. today to discuss the future of Sportstown, the sports and entertainment project next to Edison International Field, now that a developer has pulled out.
Forest City Development Inc. has withdrawn from the project after failing to meet a Nov. 15 deadline to pay the city $150,000 in earnest money.
The workshop will be in the council chambers, 200 S. Anaheim Blvd. The council will hold its regular session at 5 p.m. Information: (714) 765-5166.
