Linda’s Doll Hut again is devoting most of its weekend nights in December to Christmas benefits for local charitable organizations.
The Anaheim club’s performance series benefits the Orange County Red Cross, the Orange County Food Bank and Orangewood Children’s Home.
The series began Friday with an Acoustic Christmas show, featuring Dan Root of One Hit Wonder, Mike Martt of Low & Sweet Orchestra and former Rule 62 singer Brian Coakley heading the bill. P-Town Pubsters, Bonafide, All Systems Go and Armchair Martians played Saturday.
Other scheduled benefit shows: Freakdaddy, Afrodisiac and Senza Motiva on Friday; Rockabilly night, with unadvertised special guests Saturday; Ch. 3, Slab, D/Railed and Dr. No on Dec. 18; Wank, All the Madmen, Walter Clevenger and Simpletons on Dec. 19; and the Ziggens and Smear on Dec. 26.
* Linda’s Doll Hut, 107 S. Adams St., Anaheim. 9 p.m. $7. (714) 533-1286.
