The Cypress School District elected a new leader and swore in newly elected trustees Tuesday. David Giese was unanimously voted board president. Giese, Ellen R. Friedmann and Edward K. Southfield were sworn in.
The next regular school board meeting will be at 7 p.m. Jan. 12, at the Cypress School District headquarters, 9470 Moody St. Information: (714) 220-6900.
