Marilynn M. Poe, who won her second term to the City Council in November, is the city’s new mayor.
Council members rotate the seat annually. Poe, 57, took over from Councilman Ronald Bates last week.
While running for reelection, Poe said she wanted to improve police services and pursue economic growth for the city.
