FDA Approves Stronger Version of Rogaine

Pharmacia & Upjohn Inc. has won Food and Drug Administration approval to market a stronger version of its Rogaine anti-baldness drug. The company said it will spend $80 million to advertise and promote Rogaine Extra Strength for Men, which contains 5% of the active ingredient minoxidil, compared with 2% for the original product.
