Top teams: Santa Maria Valley Christian (14-5); Apple Valley Christian (17-4); Hemet Baptist Christian (16-5); Camarillo Cornerstone Christian (17-6).
Dark horse: Palos Verdes Estates Rolling Hills Prep (14-2). The Huskies not only have an impressive record, but a red-hot outside shooter in Maricela De La Mora and one of the most talented freshmen in this division, Lauren Stayton.
Top players: Kim Acedo (Norwalk Pioneer Baptist), Maricela De La Mora (Rolling Hills Prep), Sharon Kelly (Valley Christian), Lauren Stayton (Rolling Hills Prep), Erin Stephenson (Pioneer Baptist), Stephanie Wu (Liberty Christian).
Notes: Orange County’s lone entry, Liberty Christian, got into the playoffs with a second-place finish in its first year in the Express League. Wu is the Minutemen’s best shooter, but they also have two or three other players who can score in double figures.
