Web Site Offers Listing of 1,700 Businesses

Internet users can now stroll through Long Beach businesses via a virtual business district on the Internet.
The Long Beach Area Chamber of Commerce Web site, www.lbchamber.com, offers information about the products and services of 1,700 businesses in the Long Beach area, said chamber President Randy Gordon.
The site’s city-oriented graphics direct users to desired information, moving from cityscapes to street level to stores. As part of chamber membership, each of the 1,700 businesses receive a Web site storefront that can provide customized information.
