Bynon had 17 points--including the winning layup with four seconds remaining--and 11 assists to help Villa Park defeat Canyon, 45-44, in its Century League opener. She also had 15 points and 12 assists in a 56-40 victory over Costa Mesa and 10 points, 10 rebounds and nine assists in a 52-30 victory over Cypress.
