More than 300 teachers from 110 Los Angeles high schools were honored Tuesday by a Malibu restaurant.
The teachers were selected by graduating seniors who were asked to vote for the instructors who most inspired them during high school.
Gladstone’s Malibu invited the winners to a beach bash with a buffet and music Tuesday afternoon.
Museum and amusement park passes were handed out as door prizes and there was a raffle for five $1,500 certificates from the Ella Fitzgerald Foundation toward the purchase of musical instruments as well as two computers from the Riordan Foundation.
“This is our way of giving back to those teachers who have given to us in more ways than we know,” said Gladstone’s Malibu CEO Alan Redhead.
