Race Organizers to Meet With Cure Team Leaders

Organizers of the annual Race for the Cure will meet with leaders of racing teams on July 16 in Irvine.
Among the topics at the meeting will include goals, registration information and prizes. Teams can have as few as five members, with one team of 1,175 taking part in last year’s event, which raises money to fight breast cancer.
This year’s race will be held Sept. 27 at Fashion Island in Newport Beach. The meeting will begin at 6 p.m. at the Sports Club/Irvine. Reservations are required. For more information, call (949) 224-0292.
