Open House at Casa Romantica

An open house today will highlight two recently restored 1928 murals and other improvements at San Clemente’s Casa Romantica.
Sponsored by the Heritage of San Clemente Foundation, the event will run from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m.
The city-owned mansion, built by the city’s founder Ole Hanson, has been the subject of growing debate over its future. The city is seeking proposals through June 16 from groups or businesses interested in operating from the home.
