EVENT OF THE WEEK

City Section Track and Field Championships, today at Van Nuys Birmingham--Dorsey High’s boys’ team is pursuing its third consecutive championship and eighth overall title and Woodland Hills Taft is favored to win its first girls’ championship. Field events begin at 4 p.m., running events at 6. KLCS, Channel 58 in most areas, will televise the meet from 6-9:30.
