4 Local Teens Make Junior Miss Finals

In separate competitions, four Orange County high school juniors have been chosen as representatives to the California Junior Miss state finals, to be at Rohnert Park in August.
Charlene Wang of Fountain Valley, Ginger Johnson of Huntington Beach, Veena Goel of Laguna Beach and Annie Cho of Anaheim will compete against other high school girls for about $40,000 in college scholarships.
The Junior Miss competition is a nonprofit scholarship program for high school junior girls who show outstanding academic and leadership skills on campus.
