Universal Studio Promotes Production Vice President

Allison Brecker, who has served as senior vice president of production for Universal Pictures since joining the company in June 1997, has been promoted to executive vice president of production.
In her new position, Brecker will be responsible for developing and supervising the production of feature films for Universal Pictures. Most recently, she supervised production of “One True Thing” starring Meryl Streep, and the upcoming teen comedy “East Great Falls High.”
Prior to joining Universal, Brecker spent three years at Walt Disney Pictures, where she was vice president of development and production.
