New Bus Line to Offer Free Rides This Week

DOWNTOWN L.A. — A new bus line that connects Lincoln Heights, Chinatown and Union Station will provide free rides for passengers this week, city transportation officials said.
Dash minibuses started running Monday along the businesses on North Main Street toward the William Mead housing projects and Chinatown, Department of Transportation spokesman Dan Aker said Tuesday.
The fare starting next week will be 25 cents.
