SPORT: Football
SEASON AT A GLANCE: The prolific quarterback has impressed with his arm strength, mobility and field awareness. Boller has completed 215 of 339 passes, setting state regular-season records with 3,711 yards and 46 touchdowns. Only two of his passes have been intercepted.
WEEK AT A GLANCE: Boller’s 346 passing yards Friday in a 48-10 victory over Canyon were actually fewer than his season average of 371, but he threw five touchdown passes and had a 69-yard receiving touchdown on his first career catch. He completed 15 of 21 passes (71.4%), including eight completions of 20 yards or more.
GIRLS
Brooke Borisoff
SCHOOL: Agoura
YEAR: Sophomore
SPORT: Tennis
SEASON AT A GLANCE: Borisoff, 15, is seeded No. 20 in Southern California in the girls’ 16’s division by the U.S. Tennis Assn. She has posted a 55-0 record in sets at No. 1 singles for Agoura (12-8), which finished third in the competitive Marmonte League.
WEEK AT A GLANCE: Borisoff defeated Nina Yaftali of Westlake, 6-2, 6-2, to win her second consecutive Marmonte singles title. Later in the week, she did not lose a game in sweeping three sets to help Agoura beat Hacienda Heights Wilson, 15-3, in a Southern Section Division III playoff opener, and she lost only two games in a second-round 10-8 victory at St. Lucy’s.
