I’d like to thank the voters in Ventura County for participating in this year’s elections. No matter which candidates you supported, I salute your efforts in the election process. My deepest appreciation goes to my wife and all who encouraged, endorsed and worked on my campaign for county assessor.
I greatly appreciate your confidence as voters and will work hard to see that you are not disappointed. I have begun meeting with Glenn Gray, our retiring assessor, and his staff, We are aggressively pursuing a plan of action to ensure a smooth transition of leadership and to carefully develop a strategy that will guide a wise and efficient course of action.
In January I expect to announce details of a tax seminar for the public to be held next spring.
