Had 31 kills to lead the fourth-ranked Vikings to a 16-14, 17-15, 15-17, 15-2 victory over No. 2 Esperanza, which gave Marina sole possession of first place in the Sunset League. Wootton’s attack was instrumental in Marina coming back from a 14-10 deficit in Game 1 and a 14-8 deficit in Game 2. Wootton also had 18 kills in a three-game sweep over Huntington Beach.
