Democratic Club Hosts Election Chat

Already gearing up for the 2000 elections, the Simi Valley Democratic Club will hold a coffee klatch this weekend to meet potential candidates.
Attorney Dan Gonzalez, who lost a challenge to Rep. Elton Gallegly (R-Simi Valley) in 1998, Ventura County Supt. of Schools Charles Weis, teacher Rob Collins and former Simi Valley City Council candidate Robert Hacker will be among the club’s guests. The public is invited to voice concerns and ideas.
The session will take place Saturdayfrom 3 to 6 p.m. at 3460 Township Ave. For more information, call 527-5076.
