Council members on Tuesday are expected to approve a $643,329 contract with Anaheim-based Paulus Engineering Inc. to carry out the East Street Sewer Improvements project, retiring a previous agreement made last month with Murrieta-based International Technologies Inc., which asked to be released from its bid because of a clerical error.

Once the project is started, workers will replace the existing 8-inch sewer lines between Sycamore Street and Santa Ana Street with new 12-inch and 18-inch lines to improve overall sewer maintenance. The council meets at 5 p.m. in chambers, 200 S. Anaheim Blvd.
