Presenting Food

Everybody has a button that only the perfect present will push. For a cook, it might be something as fancy as a caviar serving set or as plain as the ideal lime squeezer. For a wine drinker, it could be the world’s fanciest corkscrew. And who could possibly resist a box of rare apples or the most luscious dates imaginable?
In this issue, we present our choices: everything from the most resolutely practical to the totally whimsical. We’ve got something for every price range. There’s even a whole set of possibilities that are almost free--who could possibly turn up their nose at a stocking stuffed with beautifully packaged homemade peanut brittle, mocha ganache or nutmeg butter balls?
Let’s face it: If you’ve got a button, we’ve got a present to push it.
