Brea will have its annual tree-lighting ceremony at 6:30 p.m. Thursday on the front steps of the Civic Center, 1 Civic Center Circle. There will be live music from the Brea Olinda High School Chamber Choir, the Mariposa Elementary School Choir and the Silver Note Singers, along with cast members of Brea’s Youth Theatre. There will also be entertainment honoring various holiday traditions. Santa also might drop by for pictures with the kids, at $2 for each photo. Information: (714) 990-7771.
