Philharmonic Plans Two Holiday Concerts

The Los Angeles Philharmonic will perform two holiday programs at the Dorothy Chandler Pavilion on Thursday and Dec. 18 at 7:30 p.m. featuring music from Tchaikovsky’s ballet “The Nutcracker,” pieces for brass by 16th century Venetian composer Gabrieli and the traditional New Year’s Eve waltz, Strauss’ “The Blue Danube.” The special concerts will be conducted by associate conductor Miguel Harth-Bedoya. Tickets are $10-$70.
