49ers Extend Streak to Five

Forward Rudy Williams scored 18 points and had 13 rebounds to lead Long Beach State to an 83-45 nonconference victory over Albany (N.Y.) State Wednesday night before 1,563 at The Pyramid.
The 49ers, who were coming off the highest-scoring game in school history, a 127-77 victory over Cal State Monterey Bay, extended their winning streak to five games.
Long Beach, which led, 42-21, at halftime, improved to 7-3. Albany State, which made only 17 of 62 shots, fell to 3-8.
