The Centralia School District invites the public to attend elementary school celebrations to honor the founding day of the nation’s first Parents-Teachers Assn. The PTA began 102 years ago Wednesday. Most of the district’s campuses will celebrate Thursday with student performances and an award ceremony to honor those who have served the schools. Call local schools for more information.
