* The Camarillo Chamber of Commerce luncheon and mini expo on “Renewing Old Town” will be held at 11:30 a.m. today at the Marquie Banquet Center, 340 Mobil Ave., Camarillo. Camarillo redevelopment coordinator Tony Perez will speak on revamping and revitalizing Ventura Boulevard.

* The Ventura Chamber of Commerce will hold its 86th annual installation dinner at 6 p.m. Saturday at the Doubletree Hotel, 2055 Harbor Blvd., Ventura. Assemblywoman Hannah-Beth Jackson (D-Santa Barbara) will install the 1999 officers.
The cost is $50. Reservations are due by Wednesday to 648-2875.
* The grand opening of Cal Lutheran University’s Ventura Graduate Center will be held from 4 to 6 p.m. Jan. 28 at The Center Promenade, Suite 220, 1001 Partridge Drive, Ventura. Refreshments will be served.
* A workshop on leadership skills will be sponsored by the Performance Connection from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. Jan. 28 at the Pierpont Inn, 550 Sanjon Road, Ventura.
