The City Council recently approved the final design contract for the widening of Crown Valley Parkway. By a unanimous vote, the council awarded the $349,000 contract to Robert Bein, William Frost & Associates. The plans should be completed by the end of this year, and construction is scheduled to start early next year. The project, which will widen Crown Valley from Puerta Real to the eastern city limits, was approved by the council in December.
