The Orange County chapter of the American Cetacean Society presents its quarterly Day of the Dolphin research study today. Community members are invited to be a part of the research team in the ongoing project that helps local scientists assess the dolphin population off the county coast.
No experience is necessary. Orientation and training will be offered at 7:30 p.m. The dolphin sighting day will be Saturday from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Orientation will be at the Costa Mesa Neighborhood Community Center, 1845 Park Ave., Costa Mesa. Information or directions: (714) 534-5177.
