The Planning Commission on Monday will discuss reestablishing a weekend swap meet at the vacant Orange Drive-In on North State College Boulevard. The swap meet was held there for nearly 30 years until April 1998 when it was relocated to make way for another development. That project fell through, as has the outdoor meet’s temporary home at the Anaheim Drive-In, now marked for new commercial development. If approved, the swap meet will be open from 6 a.m. to 6 p.m. on weekends and some holidays. The commission meets at 7 p.m. in City Council chambers, 300 E. Chapman Ave. Information: (714) 744-7220.
