While wondering what medication Randy Harvey was on when he wrote the article about Shoeless Joe Jackson, I was thinking: Maybe we should go through the list of Hall of Fame members and take out all the alcoholics, gamblers and plain old bad people. We would probably have about three people left in the Hall and they wouldn’t include Mickey Mantle, Ty Cobb or Babe Ruth.
And yes, I do think Pete Rose belongs in the Hall of Fame.
