This July 4 will mark the 12th year that the city has teamed up with neighboring cities Cypress, Rossmoor and Seal Beach to present a free fireworks celebration to the community at 9 p.m.
It will be held at the Los Alamitos Armed Forces Reserve Center, located off Lexington Avenue. The fun begins at 4:30 p.m. with family entertainment, and it is suggested that guests arrive early. There will be stilt walkers, clowns, jugglers, mimes and magicians. At 6:30 p.m., a 12-man parachute drop will be staged. Food and beverages will be available for sale.
