Stars Score Late Goal and Tie Penguins, 2-2

Tony Hrkac scored against third-string goalie Jean-Sebastien Aubin midway through the third period Tuesday night to pull the Dallas Stars into a 2-2 tie with the Pittsburgh Penguins at Pittsburgh.
The Stars, who lead the NHL with 96 points, ran their unbeaten streak to five games (4-0-1). Both teams remain undefeated in overtime. The Penguins are 6-0-10; Dallas is 2-0-12.
The Stars outshot Pittsburgh, 13-2, in the final period, and the Penguins didn’t have a shot through the period’s first 16 minutes.
The Penguins received some bad news when they learned defenseman Darius Kasparaitis will undergo season-ending surgery on his right knee.
Calgary 4, Nashville 2--Cory Stillman scored his 23rd goal and Ken Wregget made 32 saves at Nashville as the Flames improved to 5-1 over their last six games.
St. Louis 5, Philadelphia 2--Terry Yake scored the go-ahead goal early in a four-goal third period as the Flyers’ winless slump reached a franchise-low12 games at St. Louis.

Colorado left wing Valeri Kamensky will be out indefinitely after suffering a broken right forearm in Sunday’s loss to the Detroit Red Wings, the team said. . . . The Phoenix Coyotes lost right wing Dallas Drake for at least a week after he suffered a strained shoulder during Monday’s game against the Carolina Hurricanes. . . . Washington defenseman Calle Johansson will be out for the rest of the season because of a sprained left knee suffered during Monday night’s game with the New York Rangers.
