In an effort to meet new state food safety requirements, the Red Cross and the National Restaurant Assn.’s Educational Foundation are offering accredited training and testing programs in English and Spanish. The first class will be held Monday at 600 N. Parkcenter Drive. The cost is $125. In September, California approved a bill requiring food handlers to be accredited. For information on other training sessions, call (714) 835-5381, Ext. 100, or visit the Internet site at https://www.oc-redcross.org.
